Meet Mexico’s most famous POP/ROCK Band, MODERATTO, known for their high energy, glam-rock music. They began playing in Mexico City in the mid-nineties, as a parody of the glam-rock style of many 80’s bands like Poison and Mötley Crüe, as a side project to the members’ original bands, gaining great-acclaim and popularity both in the Mexican alternative and mainstream scenes. They have been rocking the world since 2003, playing before thousands of people in Spain, Japan, USA, Central and South America (Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Venezuela, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Uruguay and Guatemala).
This year they celebrate their 15TH ANNIVERSARY by touring Asia and Latin America. Their last record (2015) went Platinum after selling over 90 THOUSAND COPIES in only ONE MONTH, and were nominated to the Latin Grammy Awards for best Pop/Rock album. Other nominations and awards since 2005 include Best Rock Band (MTV), Song of the Year, Best Rock Act, Artist of the Year, Best Album of the Year, to mention only a few!
