The ensemble comprises the Australian concert pianist, Michael Kieran Harvey, a foundation member of the cult US three-piece The Violent Femmes, Brian Ritchie and three Shanghai artists: virtuoso concert pipa player Xie Yu Dan, erhu player, composer & jazz collaborator Ma Jia Jun and ex-Shanghai Animation Film Studio animator Zeng Yi Gang.
