Jack Sparrow is the Leeds based dubstep producer who’s deep, tribal infused Dubstep productions have so far been released on Senseless Records, Contagious, Earwax and Pinch’s Tectonic label.
His varied and inspired releases have earned him a reputation as a highly talented, versatile, progressive, dynamic and exciting producer.
Already well respected on the dubstep scene, he has played extensively both sides of the Atlantic, and all over Europe and is resident DJ at Outlook Festival Croatia.
His remix of Pinch feat. Yolanda ‘Get Up’ was dubstep tune of the month in Mixmag (12/09) and he was invited to record a mix for Mary Ann Hobbs’ seminal BBC Radio 1 show (broadcast july 2010)
After making the decision to take time out from a busy touring schedule to concentrate on his production, Sparrow is about to unleash his debut album on Tectonic Records. ‘Circadian’ is out on cd / vinyl on 4th October 2010 and includes updated versions of previous Tectonic releases ‘The Chase’ and ‘Terminal’ and also sees Jack explore new sounds and vibes bringing in elements of ragga-techno, deep house and ambient jungle.
The album launch party is held at London’s Fabric on Friday 17th September 2010.
