Following the afterparty for their North America tour last July, Chui Wan all but vanished from the live stage. However, this did not stop the band from garnering an avalanche of praise for their sophomore album, Chui Wan. After a hiatus of more than six months, Chui Wan returns with a selection of new songs as they prepare to head overseas once again. In mid-April, Chui Wan will embark on a European tour, starting with a headlining set at the Lisbon Psychedelic Music Festival on April 16. Before departing, the band will debut new songs for their audience of diehard domestic fans at Yugong Yishan on April 2nd.

Sharing the stage at this event is Beijing psychedelic noise rock band Alpine Decline. The duo, transplanted from Los Angeles to Beijing, has recently added Yang Haisong as a bassist for their live show; they’ll give their fans a breath of fresh air with this new arrangement. Alpine Decline is currently putting the finishing touches on their latest album, Life’s a Gasp, which will be officially released in the first half of 2016 through an exhaustive tour of China. The band will unveil new songs from the forthcoming double LP at this very special show. Come along to experience a night full of unknowns and surprises, a double spring harvest of new sounds from the Beijing underground.
