7th edition of the “Mars en Folie” Festival: The best of the francophone music scene!
On the occasion of the 19th edition of “La Fête de la Francophonie en Chine”, the Alliance française network, the Embassies of Canada, Switzerland and Belgium, the Wallonia- Brussels Delegation and Quebec government offices in China present the “Mars en Folie” music festival.
Riding on the success of the previous edition, the spirit remains the same: between March 5th and March 22nd, 40 concerts will be presented in 14 cities throughout China. From Beijing to Hong Kong, Tianjin, Jinan, Qingdao, Wuhan, Chengdu, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Macau, rising stars from all over the francophone rock, rap and folk scenes will be performing in China.
Once again, the program promises to be highly entertaining. This 7th edition of the Mars en Folie Festival offers a wide palette of sounds from the emerging francophone music scene: from the intimate and evocative melodies of Chantal Archambault (Canada/Quebec, folk rock), to the pop rhythms of Jali (Belgium/ Wallonia-Brussels Delegation, folk), by way of Greis’ (Switzerland, rap) literary rap or the raw energy of Epsylon (France, celtic rock).
This tour of concerts cannot be missed! They will be free and open to all, so as to present the amazing diversity of the francophone music scene.
