It all started in 2002, when Roger, Richard, and thirteen-year-old Robin wanted to start a band together after taking a break from playing in various other bands. They found their new band then known as Fallen Angels and played heavy metal influenced by Iron Maiden and Helloween. Shortly after they released debut album<Eden Fire>, they changed their name to SONIC SYNDICATE. With their sound of Swedish melodic metal and American hardcore, the band’s sophomore release <Only Inhuman> has started to prove that Sonic Syndicate is a band that will break everything in its path. This album has been compared worldwide to acts such as In Flames, Children of Bodom and Killswitch Engage. The band continues to prove themselves with their high energy show in the national scene. Perhaps most notable was teaming up with bands such as Arch Enemy、Evergrey、Entombed and even Def Leppard in Sweden Rock Festival.
After their first album in Nucleat Blast Records they deliver another killer album <Love and Other Disasters>. With producer Jonas Kjellgren(From Scar Symmetry), they had pushed their musical boundary further again, this is also the last album by the band to feature former singer Roland Johansson. 2 years later, they released new album <We rule the Night>. Produced by the legendary wizard Toby Wright(Alice in Chains、Metallica、Korn and so on), this album saw their music changing to another direction with more melodic elements and more commercial elements.
After one year’s hiatus, the band return with their new album <Sonic Syndicate> with Björn “Speed” Strid from Soilwork adding to the vocalist. This album showed every aspect of SONIC SYNDICATE’s music. As the pioneer of Modern Melodic Death Metal wave they have always kept the most distinctive style and will explore the new area with their music. Now for the first time, they will explore CHINA with their weapon, so not only you will see SONIC SYNDICATE performing in CHINA but also feel Modern Melodic Death Metal Spirit with SONIC SYNDICATE!!!
